Sol LeWitt

Sol LeWitt (1928-2007) was an American painter, graphic artist and sculptor. He is considered a pioneer of conceptual art and an important representative of minimal art. His work is characterized by his exploration of geometric forms and bodies, which he implemented both sculpturally (as so-called ‘structures’) as well as in wall drawings and on paper.
